Commandant Bala Bawa Bodinga Warns Criminals To Away From Jigawa

Bala Bawa Bodinga, the Commandant of the Jigawa State Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has warned that the state will no longer be a safe haven for criminals.

Bodinga gave the warning while parading several suspects arrested for various offences at the NSCDC Command Headquarters in Dutse.

He said the arrests reflect his commitment to ensuring a peaceful and secure environment across the state, adding that all criminal elements will be decisively dealt with.

“Within just seven days of assuming duty as the new NSCDC Commandant in Jigawa, the command has apprehended a suspected cattle rustler in Kaugama and seven suspected electricity cable vandals in Gumel Local Government Area,” he disclosed.

He issued a stern warning to all criminals operating in the state to repent or relocate.

According to him “We are fully determined to flush out criminals from their hideouts and ensure they face the full wrath of the law.” he said.

Bodinga also appealed to residents to support the corps by providing credible information that could aid in the arrest and prosecution of offenders.
