KANO STATE POLICE COMMAND TO PARTNER SKYLINE UNIVERSITY NIGERIA IN TRAINING OF POLICE OFFICERS ON INFO-TECH, FOOD SECURITY

Kano State Commissioner of Police, CP Salman Dogo Garba has received the Pro-Chancellor of Skyline University Nigeria, Mr Nitin Anand who extended an offer to provide training to Officers of Kano State Police Command in the areas of Information Technology (IT) and Food Security. 

”The role of information technology in enhancing the skills and effectiveness of officers in fighting crime can not be overstated, especially in this modern and digital age that Technology has taken the lead in all aspects of life. Similarly, it is important to equip Police Officers with the knowledge and expertise in ensuring food security as well with a view to ensuring the welfare and sustaining the health of both officers and the people they serve.

“We are here to introduce ourselves and to explore more ways of partnership with the Police Command. Furthermore, we are here to partner with the Command to offer training to officers on Information Technology (IT) and Food Security. Thank you for receiving us.” said the Pro-chancellor.

In his response, the Commissioner of Police stated that “I’m delighted about the cordial relationship between Skyline University Nigeria and the Police Command. I express my gratitude to the University for this thoughtful initiative, adding that this partnership exemplifies a mutual commitment to building a safer and more secure environment for the people of Kano State. Additionally, the Command is dedicated to leveraging such opportunities to improve the skills of its officers in discharging their duties. Finally, we will remain committed to safeguarding the lives and properties of all Kano residents including Teachers and Students. Thank you for the visit.”
