NSCDC COMMANDANT PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO NYSC STATE COORDINATOR IN JIGAWA

The State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Jigawa State Command, Commandant Bala Bawa Bodinga, paid a courtesy visit to the State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mallam Jidda Dawut , at the NYSC State Secretariat in Dutse, Jigawa State.

The visit aimed at strengthening the cordial relationship and collaborative efforts between the two organization in promoting National Security and youth development.
In his remarks, Commandant Bodinga commended the NYSC management for their unwavering commitment to nation-building through the mobilization and mentoring of Nigerian youths.

He acknowledged the crucial role corps members play in community development and reaffirmed the NSCDC’s readiness to continue providing security support during NYSC orientation exercises and other official activities.

“We recognize the importance of the NYSC scheme in national integration and development, and we are committed to ensuring the safety and protection of corps members throughout their service year,” he stated.

Responding, the NYSC State Coordinator, Mal. Dawut, expressed appreciation for the Commandant’s visit and the NSCDC’s longstanding support to the scheme.

He noted that the collaboration between both agencies has been vital in creating a secure environment for corps members, especially during orientation camps and community development service activities.
He further called for sustained partnership and requested continued security coverage during NYSC events and in corps lodges across the state.

The visit ended with an exchange of directories, souvenirs and a group photograph to commemorate the occasion.
