
The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Plateau State Command, Ishaku Musa, has reaffirmed the Corps’ commitment to boosting food production through a rigorous six-week refresher training for its Agro Rangers unit.
About 150 Agro Rangers of the NSCDC Plateau State Command are expected to participate in the training, which is scheduled to commence on Thursday.
According to Commandant Musa, the training is designed to further strengthen the security and protection of farmers and herders in the state, in order to create an enabling environment for increased food productivity in Plateau State and Nigeria at large.
Speaking ahead of the training, Commandant Musa expressed gratitude to the government of Plateau State for its unflinching support. He also disclosed that the NSCDC will continue to work tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of all Nigerians at all times.
