CDS VISIT TO RUSSIA: LAYS WREATH AT RED SQUARE, MOSCOW

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa attended the Wreath Laying Parade on Thu, 8 May 2025 at the Red Square as part of activities to commemorate the 80th Victory Day of the Russian Federation. The event was in honour of Russian heroes who paid the ultimate price for the Federation during World War II. It took place at about 0900 hrs (GMT+3, Russian time) and was attended by over 40 delegates, including about 32 heads of government.

The CDS was accompanied to the event by the Commander Infantry Corp Maj Gen UA Yusuf and Pricipal General Staff aofficer to CDS Brig Gen Obinna Azuikpe, all of whom participated in the wreath-laying.
