The Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi has joined the former President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Kashim Shettima, security service chiefs and other security stakeholders in Nigeria at the just concluded Inaugural North West Peace and Security Summit held in Katsina.
CG Audi was accompanied by the Commandant College for Peace and Disaster Management Katsina, ACG Babangida Abdullahi Dutsinma, Katsian State Commandant CC Jamilu A Indabawa, Kano State Commandant CC Muhammad Lawal Falala, Zamfara State Commandant CC Sani Mustapha, Sokoto State Commandant CC Bello Alkali Argungu and other Management Staff.
In his keynote address, the Vice President emphasized on Government commitments to sustainable development and a unified, peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.
In his message, the CG emphasized the commitments of the Corps towards promoting safety and Security in the country.
He further reiterated on his vision for renewed strategies in the protection of Critical National Assets and Infrastructure in line with standard best practices.
The CG further noted on the Corps renewed strategies and commitments to collaborate with other Security agencies in addressing the security challenges in the region.
