The Nigerian Navy has announced that it has officially taken over 50 acres of land donated by the Olota of Ota, His Royal Majesty, Professor Adeyemi Obalanlege.

In a statement on its official verified Facebook page, the Navy said the handover took place at the Olota’s palace during a brief ceremony to sign the Deed of Assignment.

According to the Facebook post: “The signing was carried out by the Olota of Ota and the Commandant of the Nigerian Navy Ship QUORRA, Commodore Benjamin Onalo, who represented the Nigerian Navy.
