2025 INTERNATIONAL CIVIL DEFENCE DAY: LAGOS NSCDC CLOSES EVENT WITH HEALTH SEMINAR, ASSURES LAGOSIANS OF SECURITY.

The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command, Mr Adedotun Keshinro today, Monday, 3rd February, 2025, assured, the entire populace in the state of their guaranteed security.

The Lagos State Commandant, Mr Adedotun Keshinro made the above assertion known during the closing event of the International Civil Defence Day Celebration, which came to a climax, with a Health Seminar in the Command’s Headquarters, today.

Recall also that the 2025 International Civil Defence Day celebration began with series of events in the Command since Saturday, 1st March, 2025.

The Lagos State Commandant therefore, seized, the opportunity, to implore officers and men to prioritize their health now, than ever, owing to the fact that it’s only healthy and gallant officers that can protect the all important critical national assets and infrastructure of the state amidst other numerous duties the corps is saddled with.

The Acting Chief Executive Officer, Marina Medical Services ( Health Management Organization ) Limited, Mr Adekunle Falade, delivered, a master piece on the need for officers to take their health serious while in service. He also provided solutions to the questions that were asked, by participants on the issues they face in assessing quality health care through their HMOs varying from registration, migration from one service provider to another and many other services that are available to personnel under the scheme.

The Health seminar also featured, Mrs Yemisi Olomu and Mrs Bolaji Akinola, Marketing Managers, Marina Medical Services ( HMO ), ltd.

Others include; Deputy Commandant of Corps Marian Mbakwe, the convener of the event and many other senior officers and men, who attended the seminar .
