ACTING PROVOST, FEDERAL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, TECHNICAL (FCET), GUSAU VISITS ZAMFARA NSCDC

The Ag. Provost Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B. Oluwatoyin and her management team were received by the state commandant and management staff of the command at the administrative headquarters in Gusau on Friday, 24th January, 2025, on a visit aimed to enhance existing working relationship and foster better cooperation.

Dr. (Mrs) Onazi B.O. in her remark appreciated the efforts of NSCDC, Zamfara state command in providing adequate security to the college through the periods of studies and holidays, the presence of NSCDC personnel is well acknowledged.

She continued, I wish to formally introduce the new hierarchy to the state command and solicit for continuous support as enjoyed by the past management of the college through the years.

Furthermore, I am inviting your personnel to enrol in some of the extended courses we offer, the Ag. Provost concluded.

The Registrar, Mr. Muhammad Adamu Bungudu FCASI, FANC, elaborated further on some of these courses and stated “there are advanced deliberations of expanding the college scope of operation to guarantee better academic outputs to the society”.

The state commandant, in his response appreciated and promised the new management continuous support and cooperation, noting “it is the Corps mandate to provide security to essential sectors in the country”.

In conclusion, CC Sani Mustapha reaffirmed NSCDC commitments under the leadership of the Commandant General Dr. AA Audi OFR mni in ensuring safer schooling environment through the SAFE SCHOOL INITIATIVE; a Unit saddled with the sole responsibility of securing all segments of elementary schools to tertiary institutions comprehensively within the Federation and Zamfara state command is poised to ensure it is a success.
