This operation was conducted in partnership with the troops of the Nigerian Army’s Operation Whirl Stroke. Abdullahi confirmed that the arrested individuals have confessed to their involvement in the crime. He assured that they will face prosecution following the completion of the ongoing investigation. The tragic incident, which also claimed the life of the father of Professor Theophilus Lagi, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), unfolded in late May.
