Example.’

According to a statement from the coordinator of the event, Dr.
Abayomi Runsewe, Governor Muhammadu Yahaya’s lecture is expected to focus on Gombe State’s unique and result-oriented security approach,
highlighting how the state has successfully navigated security
challenges affecting neighboring northern states, thus making Gombe a
well-secured state with immense stability and peace for its

“The award is in recognition and appreciation of Governor Inuwa
Yahaya’s innovative and impactful leadership in safeguarding lives and
property in Gombe State and Nigeria at large.” the statement said

People’s Security Monitor is an independent security radio program on
Abuja’s CITIZEN FM 93.7, operating from the Labour House, Central
District, Abuja. Its online media enjoys a wide listenership in the
Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and other states of the federation,
with immense influence on social media. It serves as a social vehicle
to create a formidable platform between the people and the security
agencies, aiming to reduce insecurity to the barest minimum in
Nigeria.

The above explains why it has created the yearly People’s Security
Monitor Annual Security Conference and Recognition Award, designed to brainstorm on how best to enhance Nigeria’s security architecture and
honour patriotic Nigerians who have been contributing to the attainment
of security.
