The Delta state command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has called for selfless, improved, sacrificial and satisfactory service delivery to make NSCDC, Nigeria and the World at large a better atmosphere/place for everyone.

Commandant Chinedu dwelt on this during the lecture organized in the State command Headquarters to celebrate the 2026 Customer Service week themed “GOING THE EXTRA MILE”

He stressed the need to imbibe a culture of excellent service delivery in every aspect of our call to duty.

He noted that Public Servants are often caught up in circumstances that negatively represent what Government and its numerous agencies stand for. Hence the need for a disciplined, conscientious and professional approach to service delivery especially in the public service. Chinedu noted that the Commandant General, Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, who leads this years observation of the Customer Service week in NSCDC has mandated all Officers and men of the Corps to embrace global best practices in service delivery to avoid putting the Corps in disrepute while improving the public perception of the Corps globally. He assured Deltans of an improved NSCDC DELTA in the delivery of a secured and safe Delta.
