Governor Umaru Radda of Katsina State has commended the Nigerian military for neutralizing a notorious bandit leader, Buhari Halidu, popularly known as Buharin Yadi, alongside his accomplices numbering over 30.

In a press statement issued by the chief press secretary to the governor, Ibrahim Kaula, the state commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Nasir Mu’azu, disclosed that the decisive action occurred in a targeted military operation spanning across Katsina and Kaduna states.

The statement read, “The operation, coordinated with intelligence targeted key areas in both states, including Katsina’s Dorawar Yan Kaji, Ginanna, and Kaduna’s Samunaka, Sirdi and Kan Dawa. This enabled the military to track down and eliminate the terrorist kingpin and his lieutenants.
