NSCDC Lagos Receives New Patrol Vehicle to Strengthen Security Operations

The Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has received a new security patrol vehicle to enhance its operational capacity and improve service delivery across the state.The State Commandant, Mr Adedotun Keshinro, welcomed the addition of a black Toyota Maxus patrol vehicle to the command’s fleet. The vehicle is expected to strengthen security operations within Area C Command and the Surulere Division.The patrol vehicle was presented to the Commandant on Monday, September 28, 2026, by the Area C Commander, Assistant Commandant of Corps Joseph Ogunyinka, alongside the Surulere Divisional Officer, Superintendent of Corps Samuel Atijosan.The vehicle was received during the 2026 Gbaja Mega Empowerment Programme held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, where it was donated by the Chief of Staff to the President, Mr Femi Gbajabiamila, CFR.Commandant Keshinro expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing the vehicle as a timely intervention that would boost the command’s mobility, operational efficiency and rapid response capability.The NSCDC Lagos Command reaffirmed its commitment to protecting critical national assets and infrastructure, maintaining public safety and supporting other security agencies in ensuring peace and security across the state.
