The award was presented to the Command under the leadership of the State Commandant, Commandant Brah Samson Umoru, in acknowledgement of the Corps’ professionalism, dedication and sustained support in safeguarding critical national information infrastructure and ensuring uninterrupted telecommunications services in Nasarawa State.

According to ALTON, the recognition was in appreciation of the Command’s outstanding efforts and strong partnership with telecommunications operators in protecting facilities essential to communication and national development. The association noted that the NSCDC’s contributions have played a significant role in maintaining the resilience and continuity of telecommunications services across the state.

The award highlights the importance of collaboration between security agencies and operators of critical infrastructure in tackling threats such as vandalism, theft, sabotage and other criminal activities capable of disrupting communication networks and services.

Speaking while receiving the certificate, Commandant Brah Samson Umoru expressed appreciation to ALTON for the recognition and reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with telecommunications operators and other stakeholders.
