EID-EL-ADHA CELEBRATION: KATSINA NSCDC DEPLOYS 2050 PERSONNEL,  COMMANDANT INDABAWA ASSURES FOR ADEQUATE SECURITY

 

The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC) Katsina State Command, Commandant of Corps  Jamilu A. Indabawa has approved the deployment of 2,050 personnel  for adequate Security coverage and protection of Critical National Assets and infrastructure before during and after the Eid-El-Adha Sallah celebration in the State.

The State Commandant made this known in a brief meeting with the Senior management team shortly after approving the Sallah Operational Order with reference number NSCDC/KTSC/NO. 2024/008  today Friday 14th June, 2024 at the Command Headquarters Katsina, Katsina State.

The CC charged the relevant Heads of Departments and Units, Area Commaders, Divisional Officers, Components Commanders and Special Forces for commitments and provision of  watertight Security in the State.

 “All personnel deployed are to work diligently to maintain safety and Security for the good people of the State” The Commandant reiterated.

He emphasized on the relevance of synergy with other Security agencies to ensure smooth and hitch free Sallah celebration.

The CC  directed for special emphasis on the deployment to prayer grounds, recreational/events centres, motor parks, markets, the festive locations at Katsina and Daura Emirate Councils, flash points and relevant facilities belonging to Federal, State and Local Governments Areas.

The Head of Operations DCC Nuhu Dalha while issuing the Eid-El-Adha Operational Order disclosed total readiness and commitments for adequate security in the State. He further revealed  that covert and overt personnel were already detailed and deployed for this operations to very sensitive locations to provide timely response, actionable intelligence that will help to contain all the activities of miscreants in the State.

The Corps Helsman in the State enjoined the general public to report  any suspicious movements of persons or items to the nearest office.

Commandant extended his heart felt felicitation to all the Muslim faithful in the State and globally and wished for peaceful Eid-El-Kabir celebration.
