The Secretary to the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), Major General Abdulmalik Jibrin (Rtd), on Friday, June 26, 2026, visited the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos State Command, where the medical screening exercise for shortlisted applicants in the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise is currently underway.
During the visit, the Secretary assessed the screening process and interacted with officials overseeing the exercise to ensure compliance with the Board’s recruitment guidelines and standards.
The Lagos State Commandant of the NSCDC, Mr. Adedotun Keshinro, fnarc, warmly received Major General Jibrin alongside senior officers from the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the NSCDC.
The visit took place at the NSCDC Lagos State Command Headquarters in Alausa, Ikeja, where the ongoing medical screening exercise is being conducted for candidates shortlisted by the Board.
The inspection underscores the commitment of the CDCFIB to ensuring a transparent, credible, and merit-based recruitment process across its services.
