The Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, has commended officers and personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nasarawa State Command, for their commitment to maintaining peace, security, and the protection of lives and property across the state.
Speaking during a meeting with the officers and men of the command, Governor Sule expressed appreciation for the sacrifices and professionalism demonstrated by security operatives in ensuring a safe and secure environment for residents of Nasarawa State. He reiterated his administration’s commitment to supporting security agencies in the discharge of their constitutional responsibilities.
In his remarks, the NSCDC State Commandant, Commandant Samson Umoru, thanked Governor Sule for his unwavering support to security agencies in the state, particularly the NSCDC. He highlighted several interventions by the state government, including the establishment of additional divisional offices, area commands, and operational outposts across Nasarawa State aimed at strengthening grassroots security coverage.
Commandant Umoru also acknowledged the governor’s continued provision of operational logistics and other forms of support, which have significantly enhanced the command’s capacity to respond effectively to security challenges and improve service delivery to the people of the state.
