NSCDC Arrests 32 After Looting Shops In Kano

Following today’s protest hijacked by miscreants in Kano, operatives of the NSCDC have apprehended thirty two (32) individuals, mostly youths after breaking shops and looted goods therein. The arrest was made by personnel of the Corps Fagge Divisional Office, Kano command. The suspects were arrested in areas around Sabon gari, Bata, France road and Murtala Mohd way. Properties worth thousands of Naira have been successfully recovered from them.

Similarly, some recovered items seized from hoodlums by operatives of the NSCDC with the assistance of good Samaritans at Gyadi Gyadi, Kano are in custody of the Corps. They were alleged to have been stolen by miscreants during today’s protest at state road and Iyaka road in the municipality.

Investigation into the case has begun, once completed legal actions will be taken.
