Interior Minister Visits Kano, Inspects NCoS Custodial centre

The Honorable minister of Interior Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo today Thursday 13th June, 2024 inspected the newly constructed NCoS Maximum Security Custodial Centre, Janguza, Kano State.

The Honorable minister arrived Kano via Malam Aminu Kano International Airport around 1100hrs. He was escorted in the inspection of the facility by Nigerian Correctional Service Controller General, Haliru Nababa who’s also in the Minister’s entourage from Abuja, the Controller of corrections Kano command, NSCDC’s state Commandant, Kano command, Mohammed Lawal Falala his counterpart at the Immigration and Federal fire services.

Final lock up at the custodial centre at the time of the Minister’s visit stands at 211.

The minister has since returned to Abuja after the one day inspection visit.
