Many stakeholders attribute the corps’ rising public confidence to these consistent efforts.

Professor Audi’s administration has also focused on strengthening community-based security initiatives across Nigeria. By fostering closer engagement between the NSCDC and local communities, he has ensured that the corps’ preventive and protective roles are carried out more effectively, reducing incidents of crime and insecurity in vulnerable areas.
The extension of his tenure is seen as an endorsement of the significant milestones achieved under his leadership.

Notable achievements include improved training programmes, strategic deployment of personnel, and modernization of equipment, which have collectively enhanced the corps’ readiness to respond to emergencies nationwide.
