NUJ FCT to Honour ACC John Onoja Attah at 2025 Media Interaction

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), FCT Council, has announced its 2025 End-of-Year Media Interaction, set to hold on 22nd December 2025 at the NUJ FCT Council Secretariat in Utako, Abuja. The event will honour ACC John Onoja Attah, Commander of the NSCDC Special Mining Marshals, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to national security and public safety.

ACC John Onoja Attah has been widely acknowledged for his leadership in coordinating the Special Mining Marshals and for his efforts in securing Nigeria’s mining corridors while combating illegal mining activities. His initiatives have significantly impacted national development and strengthened public confidence in law enforcement agencies.

The media interaction will bring together senior journalists, security correspondents, and other stakeholders to engage with ACC Onoja Attah on his achievements and ongoing projects. The forum aims to foster public understanding of the security sector and enhance collaboration between journalists and law enforcement agencies.

NUJ FCT expressed that the gathering is an opportunity to celebrate ACC Onoja Attah’s invaluable contributions to national security. The council reiterated its commitment to promoting dialogue between the media and security agencies, encouraging a safer and more secure Nigeria.
