NAYEA hands over suspected burglar of Lafia mosque, 3 others to NSCDC

The Nasarawa Youth Empowerment Agency (NAYEA) has handed over Dauda Mohammed, a suspect who allegedly burgled mosques in Lafia, to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) for further investigation and appropriate action.

Mohammed was apprehended by operatives of the state-owned security outfit alongside three other suspects who purchased the stolen items from him.

The handover was conducted by Alhaji Abdullahi Bala Likita, the General Manager of NAYEA, on Friday.

Likita reiterated the Agency’s commitment to collaborating with the country’s security agencies to ensure a crime-free Nasarawa State.

“We are committed to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens in Nasarawa State, and we will continue to work tirelessly to prevent criminal activities and bring perpetrators to justice,” Likita stated.

The items recovered from the suspects include four amplifiers, two batteries, and a microphone.
