The newly appointed Comptroller General Kogi State Vigilante Service, Navy Commander Abdulrahman Adinoyi Mariam (rtd) has described the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps as an ideal and ethical compliant security agency worth of emulation.
Speaking during his official visit to Commandant Paul Igwebuike, retired Navy Commander Navy Commander Abdulrahman Adinoyi Mariam disclosed that his security outfit has opted to align with the NSCDC on account of the Corps Sterling Attributes as a security agency.
He opined that KSVS must align itself with the Corps as its role model in order to enhance proper coordination and rapid response with a view to fortifying communities against emerging security challenges.
Speaking further, the KSVS Comptroller General emphasised on the spirit of synergy and collaboration which according to him symbolises a shared commitment to excellence, teamwork, and unwavering pursuit of safety for every kogites.
In his response the NSCDC State Commandant, Paul Igwebuike expressed his delight hosting the KSVS boss, “I feel elated for this visit today as I always considered other agencies our friends, and i want to assure the CG, KSVS of NSCDC maximum cooperation at all times.”
Commandant Igwebuike however advised KSVS to embark on massive training of its members for maximum productivity and ethical standard.
