BUHARI’S BURIAL: COMMANDANT AHMAD RECEIVES THE PRESIDENT TINUBU, COMMANDER IN CHIEF OF THE ARMED FORCES, FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA CHIEF BOLA AHMED TINUBU

The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Katsina State Command, Commandant of Corps
Aminu Datti Ahmad, joined His Excellency Mallam Dikko Umaru Radda and other service Chiefs to welcome the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Bola Ahmad Tinubu today Tuesday 25th July, 2025 ahead of State burial of His Excellency Former President Muhammadu Buhari at Umar Musa Yar’adua International Airport Katsina, Katsina State.

Shortly after his arrival, the President was welcome with a special ceremony by the military guard of honour.The President would personally receive the remains of former President Muhammadu Buhari.

In attendance to welcome the President were several state governors, including AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara, Mai Mala Buni of Yobe, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe, Umar Namadi of Jigawa, Nasir Idris of Kebbi, Dauda Lawal of Zamfara, Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun, Monday Okpebholo of Edo, Hope Uzodimma of Imo, and Bassey Edet Otu of Cross River.

Deputy Governor of Katsina, Faruk Lawal Jobe; Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Nasir Yahaya Daura; and Presidential Aide, Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari, were also part of the delegation.
