
In a significant gesture of partnership and mutual cooperation, the management team of a leading Chinese Construction Company on Monday, 7th July, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Jigawa State Command, Commandant Bala Bawa Bodinga, at the Command Headquarters in Dutse.
The delegation, led by the company’s Site Security Director, Mr. Xioa, commended the Command for its unwavering commitment to security and civil protection across the state, especially in relation to safeguarding critical national assets and construction sites.
Mr. Xioa emphasized the importance of maintaining a robust relationship with security agencies, stating, “We have been observing the professionalism of the Civil Defence Corps in Jigawa and thought it necessary to formally express our appreciation and seek deeper collaboration, particularly in areas where our projects are ongoing.”
In his response, Commandant Bala Bawa Bodinga welcomed the delegation warmly and assured them of the Corps’ continued support in providing security coverage, intelligence collaboration, and rapid response mechanisms for both local and international stakeholders operating within Jigawa State.
He further stated that, “NSCDC remains committed to fostering strategic relationships with development partners, and we will continue to ensure that lives, properties, and infrastructure within our jurisdiction remain protected.”
The visit concluded with a brief interactive session, a group photograph, and the exchange of goodwill messages between both parties.
