NSCDC AND NECO STRENGTHEN PARTNERSHIP IN ANAMBRA 

The State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Anambra State Command, Comdt. Maku Olatunde, has commended the long-standing partnership between the National Examinations Council (NECO) and the NSCDC, describing it as a union built on shared values and goals.

During a courtesy visit by Dr. Mrs. Njoku Emilia, the State Coordinator of NECO, to the NSCDC State Command Headquarters in Awka on Thursday, July 4, 2024, Comdt. Maku praised NECO for conducting credible examinations nationwide. He assured that the NSCDC would continue to provide a secure environment at examination centers, ensuring the integrity of NECO results.

The NSCDC State Commandant noted that the collaboration has significantly reduced examination malpractices and reiterated the Corps’ commitment to preventing any form of disruption during examinations.

Earlier, Dr. Mrs .Njoku Emilia, the National Examinations Council (NECO )Anambra State Coordinator expressed her appreciation for the existing relationship between NSCDC and NECO, acknowledging that the partnership has enhanced the credibility of NECO examinations. She emphasized the importance of physical security presence by NSCDC personnel to complement the Council’s security measures.

The visit aimed to strengthen the partnership and familiarize the State Coordinator with the NSCDC State Commandant was to ensure a seamless collaboration during field operations.
