CHAIRMAN OF DUTSE LOCAL GOVERNMENT PAYS ADMINISTRATIVE WORKING VISIT TO NSCDC JIGAWA STATE COMMANDANT

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Jigawa State Command, on Monday, 30th June 2025, received the Executive Chairman of Dutse Local Government Area, Dr. Sibu Abdullahi, on an official administrative working visit to the State Command Headquarters in Dutse.

The visiting Chairman was warmly received by the State Commandant of NSCDC, Commandant Bala Bawa Bodinga, along with key members of the Command’s management team.

The visit, which centered on deepening security collaboration, grassroots engagement, and community protection, was described as timely and highly commendable.

In his remarks, Dr. Sibu Abdullahi commended the Corps for its unrelenting efforts in ensuring peace, safeguarding critical national assets, and supporting local authorities in curbing criminal activities across Dutse Local Government and Jigawa State at large.

He emphasized the need for sustained inter-agency cooperation and pledged his administration’s continued support for the Corps’ operational needs within the local jurisdiction.

Responding, Commandant Bala Bawa Bodinga appreciated the Chairman for the courtesy visit and the existing cordial relationship between the Corps and the Local Government.

He reiterated the Command’s commitment to maintaining law and order and working in close synergy with local authorities to effectively respond to emerging security challenges within the communities.

The visit ended with a brief interactive session and a tour of key operational units at the Command Headquarters.

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Jigawa State Command remains steadfast in its mission to protect lives and property, and values collaborative engagements aimed at improving security governance at all levels.
