Uphold core values of Nigeria Police Force – Jigawa CP bids farewell to officers

The outgoing Jigawa State commissioner of police, CP. AT Abdullahi has cautioned officers to uphold the core values of the Nigeria Police Force.

He stated this at a farewell conference in his honour, marking the end of his meritorious service in the Nigeria Police Force.

In his farewell address, CP Abdullahi expressed his profound appreciation to the officers and men of the Command for their unwavering support, commitment, and professionalism throughout his tenure.

He commended their collective efforts in combating crime, and ensuring the safety and security of lives and property across the state.

The CP noted that his achievements in Jigawa State were made possible through the synergy and cooperation of his team, alongside the sustained support from the Jigawa State Government, sister security agencies, traditional institutions, religious leaders, civil society organisations, the media and the good people of Jigawa State.

He urged officers to remain dedicated, uphold the core values of the Nigeria Police Force, and continue to work as a team in the service of the nation.

He also emphasized the importance of discipline, intelligence-led policing, and respect for human rights in the discharge of their duties.

“I am grateful for the support of every officer, and I urge you to continue building on the foundation we laid,” he said.

In their remarks, senior officers across various units and divisions, described CP Abdullahi as a visionary leader, disciplinarian, and reform-minded officer who brought notable reforms and innovations that enhanced the operational capacity of the Command.
