EFCC Pledges Continuous Partnership with the NSCDC in Kano

The newly appointed Zonal Director of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Kano Zonal office, Mr Ibrahim Shazali, today paid a courtesy call on Commandant Mohammed Lawal Falala in his office at the NSCDC state headquarters.

The head of the Anti graft agency in the state during the visit, went memory lane recalling that the efcc shares history with the Corps having been established the same period in the year 2003. He spoke well of the NSCDC personnel describing them as hardworking, agile and virile. ” You are a conglomerate of all the security agencies and your operatives safeguard very well all assets and facilities confiscated/forfeited by Courts via our agency. We’ll continue to collaborate and partner you in our activities as you’re a reliable organisation”, The efcc commander said.

In his response, Commandant Mohammed Falala assured the visiting EFCC team that the civil defence under his leadership in Kano will continue to build and strengthen the already cordial relationship existing between the Corps and the anti corruption body.

Commandant Falala therefore solicited the support and assistance of the EFCC in terms of providing requisite training for the personnel of Anti fraud and anti corruption Units of the command thereby enhancing their capacity for better service delivery to the public.” Our doors are open to you 24/7 and we’re committed to having a robust working relationship with you”, Comdt Falala said.

Highlights of the event include presentation of souvenirs by the two heads of the organizations.
