KEDCO MANAGEMENT AND REGIONAL COORDINATOR PAY COURTESY VISIT TO NSCDC JIGAWA STATE COMMANDANT

In a bid to strengthen inter-agency collaboration and foster operational synergy, the Management of Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO), led by the Regional Coordinator for Jigawa State, on Wednesday, 25th June 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Jigawa State Command, Commandant Bala Bawa Bodinga, at the Command Headquarters in Dutse.

The visit, which was held in an atmosphere of mutual respect and strategic dialogue, focused on issues relating to the protection of critical national assets, especially power installations across Jigawa State.

The KEDCO delegation commended the NSCDC for its unwavering support in the protection of electricity infrastructure and reaffirmed their readiness to continue partnering with the Corps to curb vandalism and electricity-related crimes.

In his remarks, Commandant Bala Bawa Bodinga appreciated the KEDCO team for the visit and reiterated the Command’s commitment to the protection of all critical infrastructure, including power installations, in line with the Corps’ mandate. He emphasized the importance of intelligence sharing, joint operations, and prompt reporting of suspicious activities around electrical facilities.

The visit concluded with a renewed commitment to collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing security and service delivery across the State.
