
In continuation of his familiarization / courtesy visits, in a bid to foster collaboration and enhance the dispensation of justice, Commandant Jibrin Idris, State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Gombe State Command, paid courtesy visits to two key judicial stakeholders in the state.
- Visit to the Honourable Chief Judge
On May 19, 2025, the Commandant visited Honourable Justice Halima Mohammed, the Chief Judge of Gombe State, at the State High Court. This visit underscored the NSCDC’s commitment to strengthening its relationship with the judiciary. - Visit to the Attorney General/Commissioner of Justice
On June 25, 2025, the Commandant paid a courtesy visit to the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Barrister Zubairu Muhammed Umar, represented by Barrister Mohammed Ismaila Hinna, the Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice. This meeting highlighted the importance of inter-agency collaboration in ensuring justice delivery.
Both visits were aimed to further Strengthen existing relationships between the NSCDC and the judiciary, enhancing collaboration in the dispensation of justice. Areas of mutual interest and potential partnership were highly discussed.
The visits were productive, with both parties expressing commitment to working together to ensure the effective administration of justice in the State.
