The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Katsina State Command, Commandant of Corps Aminu Datti Ahmad has received the Coordinator National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Katsina-Kaduna Zonal office and his team on familiarization tour today Thursday 19th June, 2025 at the Command Headquarters Katsina, Katsina State.

In his remarks, the Zonal Coordinator Alh. Suleiman Muhammad expressed much appreciation for the warm reception accorded to him and his team during the visit.Mr Suleiman revealed that NSCDC and NEMA have long history of good working relationship.He also reiterated the commitment of the Agency to strengthen the already existing relationship

In his response, the State Commandant welcome the Coordinator and his team in his office.He highlighted relevant areas of collaboration between the 2 agencies and assured his continued support and collaboration.

In another development, Commandant Ahmad visited the Family house of Former President Late Umar Musa Yar’adua GCFR for condolence over the death of Abubakar Musa Yar’adua at Yar’adua area Katsina, Katsina State.

During the visit, Ahmad extended condolence message to the Chairman House Committee on Army Senator Abdul’aziz Musa Yar’adua and other family members.He prayed may Allah grant him jannatul firdaus and give the family the fortitude bear this irreparable lost.
