The colorful event showcased rich cultural displays from Nigeria\u2019s six geopolitical zones and six allied African countries, highlighting the College\u2019s commitment to fostering multinational bonds and cross-cultural military cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Special Guest of Honor, Major General Jamal Abdulsalam, Chief of Special Services and Programmes (Army), commended the College for organizing a vibrant and intellectually enriching event. He described the celebration as <em>\u201cnot merely a cultural festivity but a clear demonstration of strategic communication, cooperation, and understanding across national and institutional boundaries.\u201d<\/em> He charged the participants of Course 9\/2025 to carry forward the values of openness, collaboration, and cultural appreciation in their careers as future military leaders and policymakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Earlier, the Commandant AWCN, Major General Umar Muhammed Alkali, emphasized that International Day is a core component of the Higher Military Strategy and Management Course, designed to promote cross-cultural dialogue, enhance strategic awareness, and strengthen military ties among African nations. <em>\u201cThis year\u2019s International Day celebrates our unity in diversity,\u201d he noted. \u201cIt offers our allied officers the opportunity to showcase their nations&#8217; histories, traditions, and military heritage while engaging with Nigeria\u2019s cultural richness.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event featured musical performances, cultural exhibitions, traditional cuisine, and displays of national artifacts, reflecting a spirit of brotherhood and shared commitment to peace and security.
