Commandant Muhammed Kabiru Ingawa of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Nasarawa State Command, has received in audience the State Commandant of the played Nigerian Forestry Security Services in his office in Lafia, the state capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This meeting marked a significant milestone in strengthening the collaboration and synergy between the NSCDC and the Nigerian Forestry Security Services in maintaining security and protecting lives and properties in Nasarawa State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Nigerian Forestry Security Services, formerly known as the Nigeria Hunter Council, is an umbrella body of hunters in Nigeria registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), and its objectives are geared towards curbing crime and criminalities in Nigeria’s forests, which have become a safe haven for criminals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The State Commandant of the Nigerian Forestry Security Services Dr. Iliya Sule enumerated various collaborative ways in which the two organisation can harness to get rid of crime and criminalities in the forest and the host community.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He thanked the State Commandant of the NSCDC for receiving him impromptu in his office despite his busy schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He reiterated the NSCDC’s commitment to supporting the Nigerian Forestry Security Services in their efforts to protect lives, properties, and critical national assets and infrastructure in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting provided an opportunity for both organizations to discuss strategies for improving security in the state, particularly in the areas of forest protection and community policing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting has opened up the beginning of a new era of cooperation and collaboration between the NSCDC and the Nigerian Forestry Security Services in Nasarawa State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
