Idris commends Military\u2019s resilience in restoring peace to Kebbi State"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris has expressed his admiration for the Nigerian military\u2019s unwavering commitment to combating banditry in the state, particularly in the southern region.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He commended the military\u2019s unrelenting resolve, which has led to the swift restoration of peace in previously troubled areas, where banditry, destruction of farmlands, and loss of lives were prevalent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During a courtesy visit by the General Officer Commanding 8 Division, Nigerian Army, Sokoto, and Commander Joint Task Force, NorthWest Operation Hadarin Daji, Brigadier General Ibikunle Ademola Ajose, at the Government House, Birnin Kebbi, Governor Idris acknowledged the military\u2019s crucial role in bringing peace back to the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He noted that upon assuming office, farmers had abandoned their farms, and people had deserted their towns and villages due to insecurity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, through collaborative efforts with security agencies and the military\u2019s tenacity, peace has been restored, and farmers have returned to their farm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Brigadier General Ibikunle Ademola Ajose, in his remarks, appreciated the Governor\u2019s support, including the provision of patrol vehicles, medical care for casualties, and other essential assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He also commended the Governor\u2019s developmental projects in the state.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris has expressed his admiration for the Nigerian military\u2019s unwavering commitment to combating banditry in the state, particularly in the southern region.
