{"id":28729,"date":"2026-08-23T09:32:49","date_gmt":"2026-08-23T09:32:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/psmnigeria.org\/?p=28729"},"modified":"2026-08-23T09:37:59","modified_gmt":"2026-08-23T09:37:59","slug":"nscdc-immigration-correctional-fire-service-recruitment-to-end-in-four-weeks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/psmnigeria.org\/?p=28729","title":{"rendered":"NSCDC, Immigration, Correctional, Fire Service Recruitment to End in Four Weeks"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By Samuel Ike, Abuja<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Federal Government has announced that the ongoing recruitment exercise into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS) and Federal Fire Service (FFS) will be concluded within the next four weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ministry of Interior disclosed this on Friday, saying the recruitment process had reached its final stage. The Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), Major-General Abdulmalik Jibril (retd.), said the exercise was being conducted in line with the principles of fairness, transparency and due process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jibril acknowledged the high level of interest in the recruitment exercise, noting that the large number of applications received nationwide had placed a responsibility on the board to ensure a comprehensive and transparent selection process. He said the process would be conducted fairly and in accordance with established requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt is the intention of the CDCFIB not to rush the entire recruitment process, but to bring it to completion without any prejudice to the principles of justice, merit, federal character, due process, and the operational requirements of the four services,\u201d Jibril said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to him, the recruitment process has reached its final stages and is expected to be completed within four weeks. He added that successful candidates would be notified through the official recruitment platform once the process is concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The CDCFIB secretary thanked all applicants for their patience and assured them that the board remained committed to a fair and transparent exercise.
