The Deputy Director of Security and Intelligence of the 2027 Presidential Campaign Council, Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi<\/strong>, has expressed profound appreciation to the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Presidency following his appointment to the strategic campaign position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Gagdi, in a statement issued in Abuja, described the appointment as a great honour and a call to higher service, pledging to deploy his experience, loyalty, and commitment toward the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu\u2019s<\/strong> administration and the party\u2019s objectives ahead of the 2027 general elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He is expected to serve in the security and intelligence directorate alongside Hon. Bello Matawalle, Minister of State for Defence<\/strong>, as the campaign council prepares for the next electoral cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The federal lawmaker expressed particular appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu<\/strong>, for the confidence reposed in him, as well as the President\u2019s Political Adviser, Mallam Ibrahim Masari<\/strong>, and the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda<\/strong>, for their trust and recognition of his capacity to contribute to the campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to Gagdi, the appointment represents more than a political responsibility, describing it as an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to national service and the advancement of the party. He pledged to approach the assignment with humility, discipline, diligence, and professionalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The lawmaker emphasized the strategic importance of security and intelligence to the success of any national political campaign, stressing the need for effective coordination, timely information, stakeholder engagement, and measures that will promote a peaceful and well-organized electoral process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He further assured the leadership of the APC and members of the campaign council of his unwavering loyalty and commitment to the success of President Tinubu and the party.
