By Emmanuel Onoja, Makurdi<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Suspected bandits have abducted a Catholic seminarian, Mr. Kelvin Ochai<\/strong>, following an attack on the residence of the Catholic Bishop of Otukpo in Benue State<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The incident occurred on Wednesday when armed assailants reportedly stormed the Bishop\u2019s residence located in the Asa III area of Otukpo Local Government Area<\/strong>, causing panic within the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The abduction was confirmed in a statement issued on Friday by the Chancellor of the Catholic Diocese of Otukpo<\/strong>, Rev. Fr. Joseph Aboyi Itodo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to the statement, the attackers invaded the premises and abducted the seminarian during the operation. Details surrounding the circumstances of the attack were not immediately disclosed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Diocese expressed deep concern over the incident, describing it as a painful and disturbing development that has left members of the Catholic community saddened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The statement noted that the Catholic Bishop of Otukpo, Most Rev.
