will deliver the keynote address at the 2026 People&#8217;s Security Monitor Annual Summit, with particular emphasis on a new book examining President Bola Ahmed Tinubu&#8217;s security policies and achievements over the past three years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The summit, scheduled for Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the Nigeria National Merit Award House in Maitama, Abuja, is expected to attract a distinguished gathering of military commanders, security administrators, government officials, diplomats, lawmakers, academics, policy analysts, civil society representatives, and media professionals from across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the centre of the conference will be the public presentation of <em>The Defender of the Nation: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu&#8217;s Three Year Onslaught Against Insecurity, His Tough Decisions, Sacrifices and Gains<\/em>, a comprehensive publication that chronicles the nation&#8217;s security trajectory since the commencement of the Tinubu administration in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Organisers have described the book launch as one of the major highlights of the summit, noting that the publication offers a detailed perspective on Nigeria&#8217;s security landscape and the measures adopted to address threats confronting national peace and stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The book was written by Isiaka Mustapha, Chief Operating Officer and Editor in Chief of People&#8217;s Security Monitor, a leading security focused media and research platform known for its coverage of defence, intelligence, law enforcement, and national security issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through twenty one carefully researched chapters, the publication explores the challenges inherited by the current administration and examines the strategic responses developed to tackle terrorism, banditry, kidnapping, separatist violence, oil theft, and other organised criminal activities across the federation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The work also assesses the socio economic implications of insecurity, the role of security institutions in restoring order, and the impact of policy reforms designed to strengthen Nigeria&#8217;s overall security architecture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the organisers, the publication highlights key developments in intelligence gathering, military modernisation, inter agency collaboration, border security management, judicial responses to security threats, and community based approaches aimed at sustaining peace and public confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Particular attention is given to the contributions of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, intelligence agencies, law enforcement institutions, and other stakeholders involved in the nation&#8217;s ongoing efforts to combat insecurity and safeguard national unity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">General Musa is expected to use the occasion to reflect on Nigeria&#8217;s evolving security environment, review gains recorded in various theatres of operation, and outline the Federal Government&#8217;s continuing commitment to protecting lives, property, and critical national assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
