The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has reinforced its collaboration with Save the Children following a high-level courtesy visit by its Country Director, Duncan Harvey, to the Corps\u2019 National Headquarters in Abuja.
The visit further strengthened the long-standing partnership between both organisations, particularly in support of the National Safe Schools Response Coordination Centre, a key institution dedicated to safeguarding schools and ensuring the safety of students across the country.
During the engagement, the Commandant General of NSCDC, Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, alongside his management team, held strategic discussions with the delegation on expanding areas of cooperation. These included upcoming support initiatives and a planned visit by founding partners from Norway.
The Commandant General commended Save the Children for its sustained commitment, describing the partnership as critical to strengthening the protection of schoolchildren nationwide. He also highlighted key priorities aimed at enhancing the operational efficiency of the NSSRCC.
