The Commander of the Mining Marshals, ACC John Onoja Attah, has directed officers under his command to treat the protection of the nation\u2019s critical assets as a top-priority assignment. He gave the directive while briefing personnel during an operational meeting held today.
Attah emphasised that safeguarding critical national assets remains central to the mandate of the Mining Marshals, noting that the unit must remain vigilant and proactive in carrying out its responsibilities. He stressed that officers must demonstrate unwavering commitment to duty at all times.
The Commander warned that negligence, misconduct or any form of compromise would not be tolerated. He stated that the directive aligns with the position of the Commandant General, who has consistently insisted on discipline, accountability and operational excellence across all formations.
According to him, all operations must be conducted with strict professionalism, a high sense of responsibility and full compliance with established safety and operational protocols. He added that officers are expected to uphold the highest standards of conduct while discharging their duties.
Attah further cautioned that any breach of operational guidelines would attract swift and decisive disciplinary action.
