The incident involved a two bedroom flat and a three bedroom detached residential building. Firefighters responded promptly and brought the blaze under control through swift and professional intervention. No injuries or loss of life were recorded.
A preliminary assessment indicates that property valued at about \u20a625 million was saved, while the estimated loss stood at \u20a65 million.
The firefighting operation received support from the Gombe State Fire Service, alongside security personnel from the Tumfure Divisional Police Station, who provided security and ensured a coordinated response throughout the operation.
