President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has vowed that justice will be served for victims of the deadly attack on Kasuwan Daji Market in Niger State, directing security agencies to track down and apprehend those responsible and to rescue all abducted persons without delay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The President ordered the Minister of Defence, the Chief of Defence Staff, the Service Chiefs, the Inspector-General of Police, and the Director-General of the Department of State Services to pursue the perpetrators and ensure they are swiftly brought to justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to a statement issued on Sunday by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu gave the directive in response to the killing of villagers at a local market in Niger State by terrorists suspected to have fled from Sokoto and Zamfara States following recent United States air strikes on Christmas Eve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The President strongly condemned the attack on the Kasuwan Daji community, describing the killing of civilians and the abduction of women and children as barbaric and unacceptable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and expressed sympathy to the Government and people of Niger State over the tragic incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThese terrorists have tested the resolve of our country and its people. They must face the full consequences of their criminal actions. No matter who they are or what their intent may be, they will be hunted down. Those who aid, abet, or enable them in any form will also be identified and brought to justice,\u201d the President declared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
President Tinubu assured residents of Niger State that security agencies have been mandated to intensify operations around vulnerable communities, particularly those located near forests that have become hideouts for criminal elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He urged Nigerians to remain united and resolute in the face of the tragedy and warned against divisive rhetoric capable of undermining national cohesion and security at this critical time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThese times demand our humanity. We must stand together as one people and confront these monsters in unison.
