The State Controller of the Federal Fire Service (FFS), Katsina Command, ACF Aliyu Abdullahi, on Wednesday received the Executive Secretary of the Katsina State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Hajiya Binta Hussaini Dangani, during a courtesy visit to his office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In their meeting, both leaders explored practical and proactive strategies to curb the rising incidents of fire outbreaks across the state, particularly during the harsh and windy Harmattan season. They emphasised the need for early warning systems, public awareness, and improved community engagement to help prevent or minimise the impact of emergencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The visit also provided an opportunity to deepen institutional cooperation between the FFS and SEMA.
