The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has charged its personnel to embrace continuous capacity building to enhance operational efficiency and deepen public trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Commandant of the NSCDC Enugu State Command, Dr. Elijah Willie, delivered the charge on Thursday while declaring open the 2025 Junior Staff Retreat (JSR 2025) held in Enugu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The two-day retreat, designed for junior personnel from Level 3 to Level 7, is themed \u201cCapacity Building and Empowerment: Keys to Excellence in Security Service Delivery.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Represented by the Deputy Commandant and Second-in-Command, Jonathan Olariche, Dr. Willie described the retreat as a transformative platform that would strengthen personnel commitment to effective service delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He noted that the NSCDC Headquarters had approved and organized three retreats for 2025: the Senior Management Retreat, the Middle Officers Retreat, and the Junior Staff Retreat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe C-G\u2019s vision for continuous training and retraining has significantly improved the quality and performance of personnel in the Enugu State Command,\u201d he said. \u201cThe Command has lined up various career-enhancing topics and sessions where officers will share professional experiences that will undoubtedly boost field performance.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n He urged participants to make the most of the retreat to enhance their skills and position themselves for successful careers within the Corps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Responding, one of the participants, Kingsley Egbo, said he looked forward to presentations that would bring out the best in him and help him work more efficiently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cTo whom much is given, much is expected.
