In a bid to foster greater collaboration and synergy, The Kwara State Commandant of the Nigeria Security And Civil Defense Corps, Commandant Umar J.G Mohammed, received in audience\u00a0 the Acting Controller of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Ilorin branch, Mr Aliyu Manga Mohammed today Tuesday, 17 July, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Commandant Umar expressed the Corps\u2019 readiness to provide support services to the CBN, specifically in safeguarding their facilities recognized as critical national assets, in accordance with the statutory functions of the Corps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his response, the Acting Controller of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Ilorin branch, Mr. Aliyu Manga Mohammed, appreciated the Commandant for his warm reception and acknowledged the pivotal role played by the Corps in fulfilling the CBN\u2019s essential mandate, including the apprehension and prosecution of individuals involved in financial crimes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Additionally, he promised to support the command in the ongoing project by building a functional borehole and upgrading the Command’s clinic to a standard facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
