Idi Abbas, has approved the redeployment of 65 Rear Admirals and appointed new principal staff officers and commanders across various naval commands, units, and tri-service institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to a statement by the Navy\u2019s Director of Information, Commodore Adams Aliu, the reshuffle is part of the Navy\u2019s ongoing efforts to boost operational efficiency, enhance professionalism, and reinforce command structures in line with its constitutional responsibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the new postings, several senior officers were reassigned to key leadership and strategic roles within the Nigerian Navy and allied defence institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some notable appointments include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Rear Admiral Suleiman Abdullahi<\/strong> \u2013 Chief of Logistics, Naval Headquarters, Abuja<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rear Admiral Kasim Bushi<\/strong> \u2013 Executive Director, International Maritime Institute of Nigeria (IMION)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rear Admiral Suleiman Dahun<\/strong> \u2013 Director of Defence Cooperation, Defence Headquarters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rear Admiral Abdullahi Ahmed<\/strong> \u2013 Commandant, National Defence College<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rear Admiral Musa Katagum<\/strong> \u2013 Chief of Operations, Naval Headquarters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rear Admiral Fredrick Damtong<\/strong> \u2013 Chief of Naval Engineering, Naval Headquarters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rear Admiral Abdul-Rasheed Haruna<\/strong> \u2013 Chief of Training, Naval Headquarters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rear Admiral Hamza Ibrahim<\/strong> \u2013 Group Managing Director, Navy Holdings Limited<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rear Admiral Abubakar Mustapha<\/strong> \u2013 Flag Officer Commanding, Western Naval Command<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rear Admiral Chidozie Okehie<\/strong> \u2013 Flag Officer Commanding, Eastern Naval Command<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rear Admiral Suleiman Ibrahim<\/strong> \u2013 Flag Officer Commanding, Central Naval Command<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rear Admiral Ebiobowei Zipele<\/strong> \u2013 Flag Officer Commanding, Naval Training Command (NAVTRAC)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Others were deployed to serve as directors in key departments such as administration, logistics, operations, policy, and engineering both within the Naval Headquarters and Defence Headquarters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vice Admiral Abbas stated that the redeployment aims to inject new energy into the Navy\u2019s leadership, enhance synergy among formations, and sustain the service\u2019s recent gains in maritime security operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Navy described the exercise as a strategic realignment designed
