{"id":16151,"date":"2025-10-16T15:19:29","date_gmt":"2025-10-16T15:19:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/psmnigeria.org\/?p=16151"},"modified":"2025-10-16T19:19:37","modified_gmt":"2025-10-16T19:19:37","slug":"nscdc-kano-command-strengthens-collaboration-with-military-and-key-stakeholders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/psmnigeria.org\/?p=16151","title":{"rendered":"NSCDC Kano Command Strengthens Collaboration with Military and Key Stakeholders"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kano State Command, Commandant Bala Bawa Bodinga, has reaffirmed the Corps\u2019 commitment to strengthening collaboration with the Nigerian Army, the Nigerian Air Force, and other relevant stakeholders in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of his ongoing courtesy visits to sister security agencies and key partners, Commandant Bodinga visited the 3 Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Bukavu Barracks, Kano, and the 455 Base Services Group of the Nigerian Air Force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the visits, Commandant Bodinga emphasized the importance of synergy, cooperation, and sustained engagement among security agencies to effectively combat threats to peace and stability. He commended the existing cordial relationship among security formations in Kano, pledging to build on this strong foundation for greater collective impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI have personally witnessed the excellent relationship among security agencies in Kano. I intend to strengthen this cooperation further so that our citizens can continue to sleep with both eyes closed,\u201d he assured.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the 3 Brigade Headquarters, the Brigade Commander, Brigadier General Ahmed Muhammad Tukur, welcomed the NSCDC delegation and described Commandant Bodinga\u2019s posting to Kano as a valuable addition to the state\u2019s security architecture. He expressed confidence that the partnership between the military and the Corps would yield positive results in tackling emerging security challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Similarly, at the 455 Base Services Group, the Base Commander, Group Captain Mustapha Suleiman, praised the NSCDC for its discipline, regimentation, and professionalism. He commended the Commandant General, Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, for appointing Commandant Bodinga, noting that his reputation and experience will further strengthen inter-agency cooperation in Kano. He also pledged continued support to the Corps, particularly in safeguarding critical national assets and infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a related development, Commandant Bodinga paid a courtesy visit to the management of Max Air Limited, Kano, where he was warmly received by the Vice Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Dahiru Mangal.
