In a strategic move to enhance inter-agency collaboration and bolster security in Nasarawa State, the State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Commandant Brah Samson Umoru, today paid courtesy visits to the Controller of Corrections, Nigerian Correctional Service, CC Charles Hanish Wayagoron, and the Comptroller of Immigration, Nigerian Immigration Service, Comptroller Ubale Sekure PCC, in Lafia, the state capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The visits, held at the respective headquarters of both agencies, were aimed at strengthening existing partnerships and exploring new avenues of cooperation in addressing emerging security challenges across the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During his visits, Commandant Brah emphasized the importance of continuous collaboration, intelligence sharing, and coordinated operations among all security agencies to safeguard lives and property. He stressed that “effective service delivery is best achieved when security agencies work in synergy rather than in isolation,” noting that Nasarawa State\u2019s security architecture can only be strengthened through unity and the leveraging of each agency\u2019s unique capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In their responses, CC Charles Hanish Wayagoron and Comptroller Ubale Sekure PCC warmly welcomed Commandant Brah and his team, describing the visits as both timely and strategic. They reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation with the NSCDC, particularly in areas such as intelligence gathering, joint training programs, and coordinated responses to security threats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both officials also lauded Commandant Brah for his proactive leadership and vision for a safer and more peaceful Nasarawa State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
